What Conditions May Qualify for the Disability Tax Credit?
The CRA does not publish a simple list of conditions that automatically qualify for the Disability Tax Credit. Eligibility generally depends on how an impairment affects daily living and whether it is severe and prolonged.
Important: condition names can be useful search terms, but the DTC decision is based on the effects of the impairment, not only the diagnosis.

- Whether the person is markedly restricted in one category, significantly limited in multiple categories, or requires life-sustaining therapy.
